A cleansing oil that actually rinses clean. Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil removes heavy makeup, sunscreen and daily grime - including around the eyes - without leaving an oily film behind.

Dispensed from a pump, it starts as a silky oil and transforms into a milky emulsion on contact with water, lifting residue away as you rinse. Cold-pressed safflower oil, at around 70% omega-6, nourishes the barrier rather than stripping it, while moringa extract draws out pollution particles accumulated through the day.

The emulsifying step is what separates a good cleansing oil from a greasy one. Without it, you are left re-cleansing to remove the cleanser.

Use it as the first step of a double cleanse: massage into dry skin, add water to emulsify, then rinse. It suits all skin types and drier skins especially, and it is gentle enough to take eye makeup off directly.

Follow with Surface Radiance Cleanse, Clarifying Foam or Gentle Cleanser depending on your skin.

A double cleanse is only worth doing if the first step actually removes something. Use this on dry skin before your water-based cleanser on any day you have worn sunscreen or makeup - which, if you are using Medik8 properly, is every day.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Safflower Oil: Cold pressed safflower oil is rich in nourishing fatty acids and vitamin E giving Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil its unctuous, silky texture. It also works to deeply nourish the complexion while supporting the skin barrier.

Omega-6 (Linoleic Acid): Making up 70% of the cold pressed safflower oil, omega-6 is an essential fatty acid which helps to rebalance the skin's natural lipid levels. This helps to promote a soft, supple and healthier-looking complexion.

Moringa Extract: A powerful antioxidant that forms a protective shield against damage caused by environmental aggressors (such as air pollution and free radicals).

Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant, vitamin E works to protect against the ageing effects of free radical damage.

How To Use

First-time use: If you're new to Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil, we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before first use.

Step 1: Gently massage Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil into dry skin (even around the eyes).

Step 2: Add warm water to emulsify into a milk and continue to massage.

Step 3: Rinse thoroughly and pat face dry.

Step 4: We recommend Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil as the perfect first step of a double cleanse to ensure optimal makeup, sunscreen and impurity removal.
