Medik8 Clarifying Foam 150ml

A foaming cleanser for congested, blemish-prone skin that exfoliates as it cleanses. Clarifying Foam combines AHAs and BHAs to dissolve impurities, lift dead surface cells and help reduce both existing imperfections and the next lot.

Salicylic acid works inside the pore on the build-up behind blemishes, blackheads and enlarged pores, while L-mandelic acid exfoliates the surface and the pore at once - mandelic has a larger molecule than glycolic, so it penetrates more slowly and irritates less. Niacinamide calms visible irritation and tea tree oil adds antibacterial support.

Despite the acid content, it is pH balanced and will not leave skin feeling dry or tight. That is the usual failure point of an acne wash: it strips, skin overcompensates, and congestion returns.

Use it as your main cleanser if congestion is your primary concern, or as a second cleanse after Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil or Micellar Mousse.

Pump into the palm morning and/or evening, massage into a damp face and neck, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with Balance Moisturiser and daytime SPF.

It sits in the same routine as Press & Clear and Niacinamide Peptides, with Balance Moisturiser over the top. If your skin is dry or sensitised rather than oily, Gentle Cleanser is the better choice - this one is built for congestion.
